Global Summer is a stunning design enhancement of Synseal’s market-leading and proven Global conservatory roof to provide a cost-effective orangery solution. Global Summer delivers the distinguished look of a traditional orangery with external design features precisely engineered to provide a high quality aesthetic appearance. Global Summer uses high-quality aluminium decorative gutter fascias and internal pelmet pods that cleverly hook onto the eaves beam to create a soffit feature detail. These unique pelmet pods provide a rigid former for easy plastering to create an internal soffit and downlighters or speakers can also be incorporated to create the perfect interior. Optional decorative pilasters are eye-catching, include self-draining flutes and are a beautiful addition to any raised line Global Summer installation.
The Capella is a unique modular system that is a simple yet effective add-on to a standard conservatory. The options available include a high fronted feature aluminium gutter that conceals the end of the glazing bar, and an internal full-height plasterboarded soffit ideal for downlighters or speakers. An appealing orangery solution, designed to complement the K2 conservatory roof.
Capella design features:
External gutter options:
Standard PVC-U gutter
High fronted integral aluminium gutter (that hides the ends of the roof glazing bars)
Summer aluminium decorative fascia (as used on the Global Summer orangery)
Internal soffit options:
Shelf-style orangery soffit, using internal brackets (depth of 158mm or 316mm)
Fully plastered soffit, using easy to fit angle brackets (depth of 300mm or 600mm, 25˚ pitch as standard). Privacy film (optional) can be professionally fitted to the area of the glass roof that would not allow the homeowner to see the internal workings of the fully-plastered soffit when viewed from an upstairs window above, allowing for a high standard of finish.
Capella benefits:
A lower cost orangery solution
Usual Building Regulations exceptions apply
Easy to fit - adds only 2-3 hours to an installation

Celsius Performance Glass - Part of the Global Glass range from Synseal
At the heart of the Celsius range lies tried and tested technology, specially developed by one of the world’s largest glass manufacturers, with over 35 years experience in glass production.
Thanks to products such as Celsius One and Celsius Elite, consumers are ever more aware of the benefits performance glass can bring to any conservatory. Celsius Clear completes the range by providing a performance glass solution for side-frames.
The table below gives you a clearer idea of the impressive performance of Celsius One, Celsius Elite and Celsius Clear when compared to standard glass or polycarbonate.
The figures shown above are for guide purposes only. Slight variations may occur due to glass specification, time of year, manufacturing tolerance, point of manufacture and type of instrumentation used.
Visible Light Transmittance: This is the percentage of visible light directly transmitted through the glass.
Solar Factor: This is the percentage of total solar energy (or heat from the sun) able to pass through the glass.
U-Value: This is used to measure internal heat loss during cooler periods. The lower the number, the greater the insulation.
UV Transmission: Sun damaging UV rays are dramatically reduced, allowing greater protection of your furniture and fabrics.
